Sad Day Yesterday
Frank and I are both very sad to announce that yesterday evening we had to make the very hard decision to let our beautiful and loving Tehya (Leonmoor Amelia Earhart) go across the Rainbow Bridge.
She had been poorly the last few weeks and then deteriorated very rapidly this past week - yesterday she telling us that it was her time hence our wonderful journey together ended today at 10 Years and 4 Months. Fortunately she has not suffered and for that we are very grateful.
Many thanks to the wonderful veterinary and administration staff at Greens Vets, Sheffield. They made such a difficult time just that little bit easier with their caring attitude.
Tehya was accompanied on her final journey by myself and Ann while our 11 Year old granddaughter Isabella waited in the waiting room after spending some special time with her baby girl… Izzy has known Tehya all her life and since she could first talk Tehya was always ‘my Tehya’. She truly loved Tehya who loved her back equally.
Izzy was obviously heartbroken tonight but she was a star all the way insofar as she read a short note to Tehya that she had composed earlier this week. Even though you could see that it was breaking her (and our) hearts.
We are so very grateful to Grant & Mandy Saggers at Leonmoor for giving us the opportunity to have 10 plus amazing years with our beautiful girl.
We'll never forget you sweet Tehya and you have taken a big piece of our heart old girl.
Just as an aside Tehya is the Native American word for Precious … if ever a girl was aptly named.
R.I.P. Tehya - 2th January 2012 - 1st April 2022.

We have had a mating
We have had a mating between Noodles (Bergleerson Cherokee) who has been mated with Poland (Sergiusz Szachal (Imp POL)
If you would like to come for a visit with a view to going on our waiting list you are more than welcome to do so now Covid-19 Lockdown restrictions have been adjusted allowing folk to meet up again. We insist on a visit so that prospective owners get to meet us and our pack of mutts – our dogs range from 10 Years (Tehya) old down to 6 Months old (Tawny) so this gives you a wide range of Leo`s to see and interact with.
For info - we will not consider reserving any puppy without having first met the prospective new owner(s)... we are based in Sheffield so hopefully this is not too far away from you – as mentioned previously you are more than welcome to come visit us and meet our lovely pack and there is obviously no obligation whatsoever to buy from us in the future!!

Our Fun Day is Back
Hi All,
We are pleased to advise that we are holding another Fun Day Again it will be an event with the main emphasis on the Dogs (and their owners!!) being able to have a nice time and a get together in a safe and secure environment.
It is on Saturday the 7th May 2022
@ Grenoside Community Centre, Main Street, Grenoside, Sheffield, South Yorkshire S35 8PR
Food wise there will be a 'Bring & Share' table - Tea, Coffee Pop and Squash will be available |
