Merry Christmas to all Gracie's puppies (and, of course, their owners)!
Wishing all Gracie's puppies and their owners a very Merry Christmas and a Happy & Prosperous New Year.
We hope that this finds you all fit and well and that your pups are not tiring you out too much...!
We intend to update the website in the break between Christmas and New Year so keep an eye out...!! (All new photographs welcome!!)

Visit from Angela, Gary, Zowie, Rocco & Harper
It was lovely to see Harper and family when they came to see us on Saturday... as per usual it is amazing to see just how well the dogs all get on together. Lovely to see Harper playing with both her mum Gracie and her sister - and also with Beau, Tehya and Bruin!! |

6 Months Old Today...
Cannot believe that Gracie's pups are 6 Months old today. we sincerely hope that all the owners of the puppies form Gracie's litter are getting as much pleasure from their pups as we do from both Bailey and Bruin and, of course(!!), Gracie, Beau & Tehya! |

Harper...
... and family invited us to their home on Saturday 10th August. We took Gracie, Bruin and Bailey with us and it was lovely to see the way that they all interacted with each other.
Gracie was initially a bit 'cool' with Harper but eventually she came around and had a great time chasing Harper all over the place... closely pursued by Bailey and Bruin!!
It was lovely to see Angela, Gary, Zoe & Rocco again and we'd like to thank them for making us all (including the dogs!)very welcome and for their hospitality. Looking forward to returning the compliment in the not too distant future.

Harper... (and Jantonely Reunion & Fun Day)
On Sunday 30th of June we went to the Reunion & Fun Day organised and hosted by Jantonely Leonbergers (www.jantonelyleos.com) at Tomlinsons Boarding Kennels and Canine Centre, Upper Grange Farm, Ratby Lane, Markfield, Leicester.
The weather was perfect and a great time was had by all. It never ceases to amaze me how well behaved all those Leo's are when they get togeteher at something like this event. It's a tribute to both their training and the 'laid-back' nature of the breed in general...
Whilst there we met up with 1 of Gracie's daughters - Harper... who was there with her owners Angela, Gary, Zoe & Rocco. It was lovely to meet up with them all and it was really pleasing to see Harper and she, in turn, was really pleased to see her sister Bailey!
We were unable to take Gracie on this occasion as she had come into season so we instead took Tehya - along with Bruin and Bailey.
It was lovely to be able to meet up with various folk on the day - some we knew of by name but not by sight and it made for a very enlightening day listening to various breeders views/experiences and the day served to reassure us that we were not alone in both things that had happened to us and that we all have the same opinions/feelings about certain subjects... on that basis I guess we can't all be wrong!!
Looking forward to the next such event and hopefully we'll be able to both meet up with people we already know and also make new friendships based on our common love of the Leonberger... |

Bruin...
... was fetched from Nancy's (Bruin's Breeder) last weekend and he has been with us for just over a week and he has totally settled into his new home. Bailey, probably because of their closeness in age, has took a real shine to Bruin as has Bruin with Bailey - they spend their time chasing each other around the garden making themselves dizzy.
Bruin has settled in really well and is already one of the family... the other girls have accepted him and he seems more than happy in their company.
Earlier this morning he (Bruin) was stood in our lounge looking slightly lost and Gracie went and fetched one of her toys and then went and laid it at Bruins feet... was definitely an ‘ahh’ moment and just reinforced why we love this breed so much!
He is a little beauty and he has a fantastic 'personality' (should that be 'doganality'???) and we are so very happy that he has come into our lives. We think that he is definitely going to keep Ann, me and the girls on their toes!! |

Simba...
We (Ann, myself, Gracie, Beau, Tehya & Bailey)went across to Blackpool this weekend and, whilst we were in the neighbourhood, we called at Simba's new home... Thanks to all for the welcome and hospitality that we received - it was lovely to see you all and Simba, Bailey & Gracie appeared to thoroughly enjoy their reunion.

All puppies have now got a home to go to...
7 of the puppies from Gracie's litter are now in their new homes - Puppy No. 8 (Ruaridh - pronounced Rory) is being collected on Sunday and will be travelling up to the Inverness area in beautiful Rosshire, Scotland. Puppy No.9 (Bailey) will be staying with us and is already becoming part of the family! |

Gracie's Scan
Gracie (Leonmoor Hellcat) went for her scan today. Basically this was to confirm that she was definitely expecting pups after her recent foray with her new boyfriend(!) Benji... and boy is she expecting!!
Lisa, the lady who had the scanning equipment with which Gracie was scanned, has told us that there are 7 to 10 pups... or more she uttered just as we left the room - gulp!!
