Rip Ruby and Crosby
Ruby (Bergleerson Conway ) & Crosby (Bergleerson Jaguar )
Ann and I are very sad to advise that on Saturday 20 June 2026 & on Wednesday 24 June we had to let our beloved fur babies Ruby and Crosby go across the Rainbow Bridge.
RUBY
Ruby had been slowing down for a little while now and this past couple of weeks she had been really struggling to get up without assistance. On Saturday morning she was in such pain when I gave her a cuddle and she basically looked at Ann and I and told us that it was her time.
Ruby was around 2 months short of reaching her 10th Birthday and we’re sad that she couldn’t reach that Leo milestone.
We’re missing Ruby so very much - and like those that we have previously lost before, she was such a character and had such spirit within… already missing her bunny hops as she came down the stairs every morning.
Rest easy over that Rainbow Bridge Ruby - you will never ever be forgotten baby girl .

CROSBY
Crosby, up until this last week was such a warm and wonderful boy filled with love and ‘doganality’ - it all started on Friday last (19 June) . Fed him his meal as usual and then a couple of hours later he brought it all back … at first we thought not too much about it thinking maybe he’d rushed it and combined with the extremely hot weather was the ko
A little later we became more concerned as he was struggling to walk properly - Ann took his temperature and it was very high. We put a soaked towel over him and made him lay outside on the patio to try and bring his temperature down - it dropped to around 103 which was still way too high .
Long story short, we took him and Ruby to the vet on Saturday AM and brought him back home again late Saturday evening… slightly improved but not really better .
Took him back to the vet on Sunday - vets told us that it appeared that he had Pancreatitis and they tried treating him for that until they told us on Wednesday that there was nothing more that they could do for him…we could see that he was in such pain and it was probably the easiest decision we’ve ever had to make with any of our mutts.
Crosby - you were the biggest hooligan with the BIGGEST heart. We miss you so much baby boy and we hope that you’re causing havoc on the other side of that Rainbow Bridge
